caffinated_conversations.jpg

It’s that time of the year again… exam season. Final exams will never be a walk in the park, but there are ways to ease the stress. Opt for a change of scenery with these local study spots, or treat your self to a well-deserved study break.

Find the Perfect Study Spot

If your campus library is crowded and you’re going stir-crazy in your dorm room, head to one of Spartanburg’s best study spots: the Spartanburg County Public Library. The library has study rooms available for one, two, three or four people, and they’re free to use! If the library isn’t quite your style, head to one of our local coffee shops.

Caffeinate while you Educate

Did you know that some of our local coffee shops offer student discounts? Little River Coffee Bar and Starbucks in Downtown Spartanburg both offer 10% off year-round! Just bring your college ID. Want to branch out? Other options include Spill the Beans, Downtown Deli & Donuts, or Bru.

Take a Study Break

Join College Town at our Study Break in Downtown Spartanburg, 4-7 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 5 for FREE coffee, hot chocolate and cake, as well as discounted Skating on the Square.. Need more options? Check something off the Spartanburg Bucket List!

Don’t forget to Breathe!

Studying is STRESSFUL….It’s important that you take care of yourself, too. Nourish your brain and your body at Health in Hand Juice & Smoothie Bar, relieve some tension at Spa Bleu Day Spa, or take a yoga class at YOGAlicious (pro-tip: there’s a $5 community yoga class every Thursday at 5:45 p.m.)
